Now there’s even more to love with BearBrass’ recent expansion and renovation. We sat down with venue manager, Michael Singleton, to hear a little more about the new look and find out what specials are on offer.
How long did the new renovations take?
Three months! It was hard to be closed for so long – our regulars were all very happy when we reopened.
How did the new renovations come about?
There was an opportunity to expand and we jumped at it. Expanding has given us the chance to share what we love to do with more people!
We can now showcase our love of fresh food, innovative cocktails, and delicious coffee with more folks who love the same.
What’s your favourite thing about the new look?
I love the bright burnt orange colour scheme because it brings a really vibrant, fresh feel to the venue.
And, the new bar is set up in a really nice way. For the best experience, I’d recommend sitting up at the bar, where you can watch our chefs cook your food as the bartender mixes your favourite cocktail.
Ok, you twisted our arm – we’ll come in for a drink. Any specials we can expect?
Yes! During November and December we’re serving Pol Roger Champagne for $15 glass and $85 bottle.
Also, we have a great New Years Eve package on offer. You can join us to celebrate in our bar or book our dining package.
Our dining package is:
- Inside $130 per person / Outside $150 per person.
- Seating at 7pm, you will get an arrival cocktail and 4 course set menu.
- Pre-order a bottle of Pol Roger Champagne $80 per bottle.
- Yarra River Cruise – enjoy a 20-minute pre-dinner boat ride (limited seats available, 5.45pm & 6.15pm departures). $30 per person and includes a beer or wine/sparkling.
