The making of Hophaus at Southgate Melbourne

A contemporary twist on the great Bavarian Beer Halls, Hophaus opened its doors at Southgate in 2014. Drawing inspiration from the history and tradition of the world’s original “craft breweries”, Hophaus celebrates the Germanic approach to brewing, one of both art and science. With unparalleled views along the Yarra housing up to 350 patrons, Hophaus is an exciting new destination for Melbourne social gatherings.

Southgate Moveable Feasts

Southgate Moveable Feasts are a unique way to experience three different restaurants across three courses all within Southgate. The annual public program consists of an eight week schedule held every winter where you can choose from a three course Sunday lunch or Monday evening dinner from a range of Southgate restaurants.

Southgate Cinema

Southgate Cinema is a unique Melbourne experience, that pops up for free every Tuesday evening on Southgate’s upper level. Unique to Melbourne in so many ways, Southgate Cinema is Melbourne’s only silent cinema where patrons are provided with individual headphones and audio kits to listen to the film while sitting back and relaxing amidst the hustle and bustle of the restaurant precinct.
